Possessions:
Romeo has a number of rings and piercings that he keeps in a small box, usually in his room or in his bag so that he can swap and change them when he feels like it.
He has his rectangular shaped glasses, the frames of which are green. He can wear contacts but tends not to because they irritate his eyes.
He keeps his Lucky Coin in his wallet, which is usually held somewhere on his person. He likes to flip the coin to make decisions.

Personality:
Romeo's personality pretty much fits his appearance. He is friendly and energetic, usually more than happy to talk to new folks and make friends. Well, he has to be sociable, for his "job" requires him to have charisma. Being a Street performer, that is. Not a real job, but it helps him get by.
He tends to be possessive and protective over the things he owns, and can be protective over the people he loves for fear that someone might hurt them.
Whilst he is usually approachable, he has a tendancy to become pushy and may try to pressure people into doing things, whether they want to or not.
Oh, and if someone happens to tick him off... He becomes one fiesty little kitty. Usually he'll become hissy and scratchy, but tries not to get into battles because he doesn't think he could stand a chance of winning.

Backstory:
Some time ago, an Arcanine man and his Persian wife were blessed with a Meowth son, the only child they were ever to produce. They named him Romeo.
Romeo lived a fairly normal life, growing up for the first few years of it in the remote Agate Village of the Orre Region.
It was clear from an early age that this young boy was brimming with energy and charisma, destined to be a performer of some description. He loved to dance, which was the first thing people tended to notice about him. During his early school years, he often got involved in dance and gymnastic classes. He was particularly good at these, soon deciding to join the extra curricular clubs, and later, the teams as well.
When Romeo was almost 7 years old, his parents adopted him a younger sibling, a Treecko boy named Hunter. Hunter was... a little odd, to say the least, but Romeo treated him exactly the same as he would treat anyone else, certainly fitting into his protective big brother role... Though people would often confuse them and assume that Hunter was the older and more violent of the two because of their appearances. Romeo and Hunter have a very much love-hate relationship, like a "normal" pair of siblings, though secretly, they'd probably be lost without one another.
Two years after adopting Hunter, the family decided to pack up and move to the bustling Hearthome city. They did this for a number of reasons, one of the major ones being that they thought it would be good for Romeo to move to a place where his performing talents could blossom and where Hunter might be able to make more friends and maybe find out what he liked himself.
The family lived fairly happily in Hearthome City for a number of years, never really having to face any problems. Mavrick, Romeo's father, worked as a high school teacher and his mother, Deana, a personal trainer in the local gym. Their joint income was enough to sustain the family, and that's all they could really ask for. They had each other and that's all they needed.
After graduating high school, Romeo began looking for colleges to go to where he could further his endeavours, which now included; dancing (of many styles), gymnastics, acrobatics and some minor stunts. He was having trouble finding a college close enough to home that really suited his needs, and it became frustrating. He decided to take a gap year and perform on the city streets for loose change whilst he tried to work out what he wanted to do with his life. It was a minute income, but it was something, and it felt good to him to know that his performance skills had the ability to gain him any sort of income at all. It meant he could use his life's love and passion to sustain him in the future, which would basically be his dream come true.
Romeo heard from his father, who had learned of it during a conversation with one of his colleagues, that there was a school and college in another region that was able to cater to the skills and needs of many different types of students, a very prestigious, and very expensive school. Over the years, the family had saved enough money to be able to send their children there for a short while, whilst they could work on raking together the rest of the money they would need should their boys wish to stay longer than a couple of years at the school.

Trivia:
-His tail is actually not very sensitive at all.
-The stripes in his fur come from his lineage: an Arcanine father.
-He likes to climb things... including people.
-He can't sheath his claws, so he has to find ways to keep them fairly short.
-He purrs a lot and has a tendency to rub himself up against people he likes.
-He likes to curl up when he sleeps.

Medical Notes:
His blood isn't particularly good at clotting, which is one of the reasons he tends to stay away from fights, but other than that he is a fairly healthy individual.
